The Iceberg Problem
The weight problem is the tip of the iceberg, it is the part visible to you and to the world. But it’s the part that lies beneath the surface that’s really scary. The one that needs to be discovered, analysed, faced and elaborated.
One of the most common but at the same time least known problems is “Dysmorphia”.
Dysmorphia is a psychological condition, which leads an individual to obsess over what he believes are imperfections of his body and to worry about them more than necessary, hiding or modifying them in all possible ways often ending up in increasingly serious eating and physical disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.
But if you’re thinking about starting a weight loss journey, it means that somewhere inside you a spark has ignited, and to make it bigger and help you on this journey you have to pamper yourself more, you have to put yourself first.
Take more time for yourself, take long hot baths, try a new haircut, get that color you’ve always wanted but never had the courage to try and put yourself at ease by breaking the routine that has brought you here. where did you arrive?
When you have done this and you have fueled your spark, you will have a fire inside that will push you to melt the iceberg that has held you back and weighed you down until then.

This is very important, because, with the first adversities, the risk of losing hope and the strength to fight for change is high, as is the consequent possibility of falling back into old habits.
Don’t accept criticism, if someone tells you you can’t do it, look them in the eye and tell them you will do it instead, because you believe in yourself and believe in your strength.
Only then can you start on your journey back to your ideal weight.
